| Description:
They are perhaps the most learned of all subraces of elves as they tend to be more intelligent than an average moon elf. Another factor may be because of a sun elf's natural
predilection for absolute perfection in any endeavor they pursue. Also sun elves tend to live longer lives than the other elven subraces, leaving them more time to perfect their studies further.
Like all of the People, the Ar'Tel'Quessir are of a height with humans, but significantly more slender. They also tend to be slightly longer in limb and their hands are feet are approximately half again as long as an
equivalent human's. They possess a deep bronze colored skin, in some cases appearing more amber. Hair
colors tend toward copper, golden blonde and black, and rarely red. Eye
colors are more varied with most gold elves possessing eyes of liquid gold or silver, or black, but on
occasion hazel, copper or green.
On Talan'ith:
Sun elves are often considered
to be high elves from Nostaen'Laf also known as Quillinnia. They along with
the normal moon elves also known as wood elves populate the
area around Yarrow as well as some settlements in the
deserts around Drakeston. Most often they
govern either as nobles or mages. A
few will use their arcane skills to perfect their archery. Of
all the elves they hold very high moral standards and often
will frown upon bondings not agreed upon by the council. While
they will bless bondings with humans (most already have elven blood in them) they will make
sure as time goes by the human bloodline is diluted.
Sun Elves are noted for their
culture and courtly ways, most have from light to strawberry
blonde hair. Their eyes are always green and skin ranges
from pale to a rich tan color depending were they live. They
are the tallest of the elves and often are from 5.0 to 5.9
in height. Sun Elves are the longest living of the Elven
race. Most Sun-Elves in Kil'Dar have some human blood
in them. It is rare to find any full blooded Sun-Elves who
have moved from Nostaen'Laf Most who do were rejected by their families due to breeding or other
political reasons..
Normally elves do not have facial hair but those males with a touch of human blood often have
light chin beards and curly hair.
Lomedur Kallow Arch Wizard of
Starkson was a Sun Elf raised by the council on the Order of
Seven Isle where he was a scholar cleric.
