The world is filled with pain and torment, and
the best that one can do is to suffer those blows that
cannot be avoided and deal just as much pain back to those
who offend, those who deserve, or those with too many
blessings with too little effort. Kindnesses are the best
companions to hurts, and increase the intensity of
suffering. Let mercy in the form of the abstinence from pain
and of providing of unlooked-for healing come over you
seldom, but at whim and cold design, so as to make folk hope
in you and increase the Mystery of Fan'taween's Mercy.
Unswerving cruelty will turn all folk against you and does
not teach others of Our Ladies truth. Act alluring, and give
pain and torment to those who enjoy it as well as to those
who deserve it most or would be most hurt by it. The lash,
fire, and cold are the three pains that never fail the
devout. Spread Fan'taween's teachings whenever punishment is
handed out. Pain tests all, but gives strength of spirit and
true pleasure to the hardy and the true. There is no true
punishment if the punisher knows no discipline, so it is
important to take measure in your gentle cruelties. |

Is the goddess of evil in the world of Talan'ith.
Her symbol is a bloody golden dagger worn on the hip or on a
chain about the neck of her priests and priestesses. |

Of
herself she is a shadowy figure of a beautiful woman with a
thin lined scar crossing her right cheek. It goes from the
corner of her eye to her lip. It does not detract from her
beauty but instead adds to it. Still often she only lets
part of her face show in the light.
Her hair is raven black, her skin is pale white,
lips of blood red, her eyes are glowing green. Upon her back are
demon like wings of a red so deep it is black. She wears a rich
gown that shows off her shape very well and yet has magic about it
for its edges often fade out like torn mist. Giving a ragged look
to her. Her gemstone is a Blood Ruby. Her favored colors are red
and gold.
